TZP to be screened by Real Art Ways - USA

Posted by admin | 190 Views

Real Art Ways is one of the United States' leading innovative contemporary arts organizations

Read excerpts on TZP from the website of the organization:

If you want to see what inspired Danny Boyle to direct a Bollywood-type film, Slumdog Millionaire, you must see this new Indian film. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan turns director with Taare Zameen Par (Little Stars On Earth). A far cry from the formulaic masala flicks churned out by the Bollywood machine, this sensitive drama centers on an eight-year-old dyslexic boy (Darsheel Safary) who struggles to be understood by the people and world around him, until an art teacher reveals his hidden talent. Dyslexia may be recognised in the west, but in a country where millions of
Indian children go without the luxury of education, and learning difficulties are often confused with mental and physical disability, the director sets out to make the distinction with the tagline "every child is special".By downgrading his own screen presence and placing mesmerising young discovery Safary firmly in the limelight, Khan has made a film from a child's point of view. It's an inspirational story that is as emotive as it is entertaining. This is a little twinkling star of a movie.
