After Darsheel Safary, Aamir Khan has now chosen nine-year-old Parul for his home production, The Falling, directed by Anushka Rizvi
Parul, who hails from Muzzafarpur, Bihar got a role in the film after Aamir watched her perform on stage in a play. The Falling, which is
based on the issue of farmers' suicide will have Parul in the role of a farmer's daughter.
A source reveals, "Aamir was impressed with
Parul's acting in the play. Last year, during a trip to Delhi, he watched her in one of her plays and was highly impressed. Parul has worked under
the guidance of acclaimed theatre stalwart Habib Tanwar. Aamir was looking for young talent for The Falling and decided that Parul was right for his
film."
Parul has not only won national acclaim but has also travelled to Germany and other European nations as a part of her theatre group's
tours. A source reveals, "Parul has a lengthy role in the movie and Aamir is thrilled that he found a talent like her for the film. She has already
started shooting for The Falling and word has spread in her small town in Bihar."
