Ghajini director Murugadoss loved to direct Aamir, the star director reveled the truth talking to the media. The director had a meeting with Aamir Khan in Mumbai later the same evening — there are numerous Kannada producers who’re chasing Murugadoss for dates. In the mean time Ghajini has changed the life of AR Murugadoss, who was just another director before the movie. He’s the real star behind the camera in true sense. Now the stars are coming to him. Talks are on for a project with Shah Rukh Khan; it’ll be a romantic comedy. But it’ll take a couple of months to take off, says Murugadoss. At the same time Murugadoss says about his dream. He say he wants to direct Kamal Haasan, the living legend of Indian cinema. Murugadoss says Ghajini had a universal theme, so it was even liked in the Bollywood and in the Southern part of the country too. He observes, it would have been rejected otherwise. Talking about the South and Mumbai movie culture, Murugadoss says, “In the north, people are chilled out. And they like their films to reflect the same spirit. Here, we like our films slightly over-the-top.” In his interviews, he’s often been quoted saying that he found Aamir better than Surya. “I didn’t compare the two. I just felt that given Surya’s age, he excelled at romantic scenes. But since Aamir is a middle-aged actor, obviously he can’t sport a romantic image — so he was better as an action hero.” - Freshnews.in
