Aamir’s Dhobi Ghat delayed by a year?

Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao are currently going through a tough phase as Kiran suffered a miscarriage a few months ago. Aamir revealed on his blog
that he and K (that is what he fondly calls Kiran) need some time to heal and he won’t be active on his blog for a while. Given Aamir’s personal loss, his film with wife Kiran ‘Dhobi Ghat’ too has suffered as it is now delayed by almost a year. A unit hand of the film revealed, “Dhobi Ghat is almost ready and was to release this year but now it has been postponed to July 2010 for release owing to Kiran-Aamir’s personal loss. The young actors in the film are a bit unhappy about the delay, especially Prateik Babbar as he was counting on this film. His debut movie Jaane Tu ... Ya Jaane Na released on July 4, 2008 and thus Prateik was expecting Dhobi Ghat to release by the end of 2009. But now inspite of it being ready it has been pushed to July 2010.
